1st Annual " Take Me Fishing" Tournament (Storm Creek)

On May 2nd, 2009 on Saturday the first ever "Take Me Fishing" Tournament will be held at Storm Creek. The Helena-West Helena Fire Dept will be putting on the tournament with the help of the West Helena Bass Club. This is a chance to take someone young fishing. You can weigh in any type of fish. There is a limit for each type of fish. You can weigh in 5 bass, 10 crappie, 10 Bream, and 10 catfish all at the same time but not to exceed the limit specified for each fish. The tournament is only 5 hours long starting at 6:30am to 11:30am. The entry fee is 20 dollars per boat with 5 dollar lunker fee per boat. First place is 50% of entry fees. One person in the boat must be under 16 years of age unless you are fishing with your parent, then you can be 18 years old. So bring a child and join the fun.
